Our team has four major groups:
This group is for the novice swimmer. In order to be in this group a swimmer must swim at the American Red Cross Level 3 ability. Practices are available 45 minutes a day, 5 times a week, but swimmers aren't expected to come more than a few times each week.
This group is divided into two smaller groups. In general this group is intended to teach the fundamentals of all the swimming strokes, starts, turns and will build some endurance for the athlete. Practices are available 1 1/4 hours a day, 5 days a week. There is no minimum attendance requirement for this group.
This group is for the swimmer with good endurance and a strong mastery of the competitive strokes. Junior 2 is a continuation of Junior 1, with more indurance work included. Practices are available 1 3/4 hours a day, 5 days a week. 60% attendance is required to stay in this group.
This group is for the top swimmers on the team. There are usually 7-9 practices a week ranging in time from 1 1/2 to 3 hours each. 80% of the main practices for the week are required. 50% of the secondary practices for the week are required. This group has a limited number of swimmers.
We believe we have the most affordable and flexible program around. We are not afraid to tell you our costs right up front. Each swimmer must register with United States Swimming, the cost of this is $51 per year. This is required on all USS swim teams. Then each swimmer must pay a monthly fee that is listed below.
| Group | 1st Child | 2nd Child | 3rd Child |
| Developmental | $50 | $40 | $40 |
| Competitive | $60 | $50 | $50 |
| Junior 1 | $70 | $60 | $60 |
| Junior 2 | $70 | $60 | $60 |
| Senior | $75 | $65 | $65 |
We do not require any type of commitment
past month to month. If you want to swim one month and not the next,
that is up to you. We do not require, but we do encourage, fundraising
for the club. Full monthly dues will be billed in all months except
March and August. Because the team is on break during part of March and August,
only half dues will be billed for those months. High school swimmers who choose
to swim with Monarch Swimming for the first half of November will be billed
for the entire month. Equipment (swim suit and goggles) and meet entries are
extra. We provide fins, pull buoys, kick boards and other equipment.
