Monarch Swimming was started in 1994.  Since that date we have steadily grown to a size of around 100 swimmers and have continued to maintain that size for the last several years.  Our team draws almost solely from the Papillion and LaVista communities.   Papillion and LaVista are two small suburbs of Omaha (each around 15,000 in population.) Papillion and LaVista are about a 5-10 minute drive from Omaha, Nebraska.

We currently practice in two pools, both in Papillion.  One is an 8 lane 25 meter outdoor pool and one is a 6 lane 25 meter indoor pool.  Since the start of the club we have put a high emphasis on providing the best in facilities and equipment for our swimmers.  We currently have a large array of equipment for use by the swimmers. We recently finished 4th at the Long Course championships in Lincoln.
