Long Course Awards Night & Annual Team Meeting

5:30-7:30 PM

Awards and Ice Cream Social from 5:30 to 6:15.  Parent meeting from 6:15 to 7:00.  Kids can go swim while parents attend this informative meeting for both old and new families.

Intersquad Meet

Meet starts at 6:15 PM

ATTENTION PARENTS, we need your help! This is a great opportunity to learn how a swim meet is run, how to time, etc. It is also a great time to meet other swim parents. Look for the volunteer sign-up sheet posted at the pool.
This meet is intended for all Monarch swimmers, but particularly those who have never competed in a meet before. We want this to be a chance for new swimmers and parents to understand what is expected of them, before our short course season begins. We will slow the meet down as needed to assist swimmers.

Come for your individual photo before or after the team picture, what ever fits your schedule. Swimmers should wear a Monarch Swimming team suit. Remember to bring your Hassel &Funk Photography picture packet (check mailbox) and payment.

Friday, October 24th

Halloween Swim Costume Party

5:30-7:00 PM

Wear a costume you can swim in.  Be Creative!  Snacks, water games & prizes

November 8^th and 9^th

Monarch Swimming November Classic Meet

ATTENTION PARENTS, we will need your help.  Plan to sign up for at least one session per day per home meet.  Please look for the volunteer opportunities sign-up sheet to be posted approximately one month before the meet. This three-session meet is our first home meet of the season!  All swimmers unable to attend any home meet must clear it with your coach beforehand.

Monarch Swimming President's Day Meet

Division II Championships

This is the last chance to get times for the Div. I Championships.  Swimmers who still need times should enter this meet.

Senior Meet

Senior swimmers attend this meet held in Elkhorn.  Watch for more details at the pool or on the Midwestern website..

Wednesday, March 11^th

Team Spaghetti Dinner

5:30-7:00 PM

A pre-championship tradition, the dinner and team meeting is for ALL swimmers and their families. Please join us in the PLV High School cafeteria as we gear up for our big meet of the season!

March 13^th - 15^th

Midwestern Division I Championships

Friday-Sunday

Everyone should be available to swim at the championship meet, which will be held at UNO this year.  If you don't have any individual events, we still need you!  We score valuable points with our relays that can make a difference for the team.

Short Course Season Awards Night

7:00 PM

Swimmers and families attend the ice cream social and awards night in the PLV High School cafeteria.

- Check your family mailbox at the pool regularly.

- Look for current practice calendars and meet information at the pool or on the home page.

- View the postings on the Monarch Swimming bulletin board and read the newsletters.

- Ask your swimmer about news that has been shared at practice

- Subscribe to the email mailing list.  Instructions can be found in the Team Area.
